We work in many partnerships with other health and social service agencies in our community to provide a range of programs and services.

o   Opeongo High School: Nurse Practitioner Heather Robertson provides a teen health clinic on Tuesday mornings at the Opeongo High School during the school year.

o   Bonnechere Manor Day Away Program: This is a community outreach program of the Bonnechere Manor in Renfrew offered in our Beachburg site on Thursdays. This program provides structured and supervised activities for seniors and adults living within the Renfrew County Community. A hot lunch and nourishing snacks are provided. Call 613-432-4873 for more information.

o   Diabetes Clinic: This outreach program from the Pembroke Regional Hospital is offered in both of our sites every 2 months. Diabetes education and teaching is available to anyone with Diabetes or to any family member who cares for someone with Diabetes. Chiropody services are offered 2 days per month for clients and members of the community. Call or visit more information.

o   Renfrew County Child Poverty Action Network (CPAN): We are a member organization of the executive committee of this network which exists to reduce the impact of child poverty in Renfrew County. Committees and members of this Network:  raise awareness about child poverty through public education and the “Poverty Survival Game,” advocate to influence public policy addressing child poverty, provide school supplies, back packs, foot wear and snowsuits to families in need, provide funding to ensure access to recreational opportunities. These are just a few of the initiatives coordinated by CPAN.
